If a parent is terminally ill or experiencing a downhill battle due to severe illness, it should be a logical expectation that the management and staff of a care facility would treat the patient and their immediate families with compassion, patience and understanding. Without going into detail, let it suffice to say that our experience at Creekside was in stark contrast to this expectation.Disagree with anything at this facility and you, as a family member, could face harsh and cruel treatment by staff and management. In our experience, the education of the staff was not adequate for problem solving and compassion. Negotiation requests and requests for meeting to get to the bottom of issues were repeatedly ignored. Without communication problems remain unsolved. Creekside needs guidance by a consulting company to learn methods to deliver better physical and emotional care to residents and their families.
