I lived here for 18 years, and was relatively happy, as long as I had good friends outside to do things with. This is a owner-owed cooperative. You don't just buy a property .. you have to be approved to join the Co-op by the Board of Directors (consisting of residents) before you can purchase a house. You own only the buildings on your rental lot (where you can make gardens if you wish). There is a nice Activity Center, where Board Meetings are held (in the "Board Room"), and various activities and general meetings of the members in a large meeting room. It is about five miles to the nearest supermarket and pharmacy, so you need to have a car. It is a good place to live in early retirement. Good luck!
