Windemere Park Assisted Living I

I removed my husband from Windemere Park (Warren, MI) in April of 2019 due to a troubling decline in their service levels. My husband is 93 years old and suffers from severe dementia. On several occasions (all documented over a two-month period), the staff allowed him to sit in his wheelchair all day without water and necessary incontinence care. When one day I found him left completely alone and unattended in the dining area with his evening meal untouched, I reported the neglect to staff managers, but was ignored. I finally sent a formal written complaint to Windemere Park upper management, but received no reply. My husband now resides in a smaller, more comfortable, licensed group facility where he receives excellent care that is far superior to Windemere Park at far less cost. Because of these terribly negative experiences, I would not recommend Windemere Park to anyone.
