The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program provides advocacy and investigative services for seniors to help ensure that their legal rights are not being violated. Both paid and trained volunteers work to resolve complaints and other issues related to long-term care facilities, which include assisted living communities. Along with investigating complaints of abuse and neglect, the program provides education for families and communities about long-term care facilities.
