Weatherization Assistant Program
Administered by the Southwestern Regional Housing & Community Development Corporation, the Weatherization Assistant Program helps low-income seniors and others improve the energy efficiency and safety of their homes. Services include insulation of water heater and hot water pipes, repair or replacement of furnaces and refrigerators and installation of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Golden Shield Yard Assistance
Las Cruces’ Codes Enforcement partners with volunteers to help seniors ages 60 or older maintain their yards. Codes Officers monitor all workers, who help with clearing trash, overgrown vegetation and weeds.
