Operated by the city of Miami, On-Demand Transportation is a free service for the elderly and persons with special needs. The program prioritizes trips to senior centers serving food as well as rides for food procurement and appointments at government or medical facilities. Services are provided Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The designated resource center for seniors living in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties, the Alliance for Agingprovides seniors and their families with easier access to programs and long-term care services.
