Older residents who participate in the Homestead Exemption program may be eligible for the Senior Citizens Tax Credit if their incomes are less than 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for their household size. Seniors must file West Virginia personal income tax (Form IT-140) and form SCTC-1 to claim the refund.
