My father in law in there..they told my mother in law he could be discharged today, she showed up and they said he wasn't ready. they've been lying to her claiming that he needs asst to walk, which is a lie. My mother in law tripped on a rug and smashed her face on the ground busting open her lip and nose. All they cared about was her signing a form saying she was fine...well surprise to them this wont stop a lawsuit if she is later found to be hurt. She has two bad knees, hips and shoulders...this will likely cause her extreme pain in the morning!!! The receptionist told my mother in law that my father in law had an extremely contagious stomach illness which scared the hell out of her, come to find out the blood test result weren't even in!!! First as a nurse I know that even I have no right to give a dx nor does a receptionist let alone in front of other people which she did! So the man had a bout of bad diarrhea and automatically they went to cdiff that made me very suspicious its not something you jump right too unless you've had many cases of it...the next day dad was eating and no more diarrhea...well there is the proof he didn't have cdiff, likely a response to their awful food! Of course the blood work was neg. SO why was the receptionist giving premature dx, a dx in the first damn place and scaring my mother in law for absolutely no reason! They have threatened to call senior services on my mother in law as if she was some how unable to care for my father in law and threaten to take custody of him. this is absolutely insane! they want his social security!!! My mother in law takes excellent care of my father in law!!! She is the best care giver he could possibly have! Not to mention my husband and I aren't that far away that we wouldn't be there asap in any time of need! their neighbors are like family and are also there for help any time its needed! He has home healthcare set up and ready to come to the home including but not limited to an RN etc. there is absolutely ZERO reason he shouldn't have been discharged today, there was zero reason he was sent there to begin with! We want him transferred to another place or sent home immediately! This place should be closely monitored by all insurances and anyone who has family there BEWARE! Visit often! My father in law is not on any special diet yet is being fed food that isn't good enough for a dog! Its keeping him weak and unable to walk hence the need for more PT! Well my mother in law is the best cook in the south and we have told her to start taking him his meals she cooks! We want OUR family member home where he belongs! We will NEVER allow him to EVER go to this place again! EVER! I just pray to god that they haven't caused any harm to him and that my mother in laws fall due to their faulty rugs wont have lasting effects on her!
