Churchman Village

This place is a TOTAL disaster! I am a current patient here in their rehab facility! The staff here are TOTALLY apathetic, incompetent, unprofessional, deceitful and uncaring! There are some exceptions to this rule! But, this is TOTALLY reflective of management's attitude towards the patients here! The employees here do NOT work together or care about the patients here! There is poor communication here amongst the staff and there is poor comradery! If your assigned aide is to busy to help you, other employees will NOT pitch in to help out! They will just leave the patient helpless and stranded! I am on fluid pills! As I am retaining fluid throughout my entire body! Both the staff here and management know this!! So, I have to urinate frequently! I have had to call the nurse's station on MULTIPLE occasions, to get some assistance with utilizing the bed pan, as I am TOTALLY confined to the bed! I have had to call the nurses station when aides have refused to answer my call bell! The nurse's station either lies to me and tells me that they are sending someone to help Me! Or, they become annoyed that I am even calling them for help and they immediately become argumentative and confrontational with me for even asking for helping! Their refusal to provide care, when I need it, has lead to me using the bathroom on myself and them leaving me to sit in my own waste! I have had multiple medical issues since I have been here and I have reported them ALL to the staff! I have NOT been believed and I have had to fight for basic treatment! I have even had to go as far as scheduling my own appointments! I have been right about each new medical issue EVERY time I have reported them! Yet, I am still NOT believed and I have had to constantly advocate for myself! Their refusal to believe me or treat me in a timely manner, has lead to me neeeding treatment at the ER of the hospital as well as, ongoing treatment after that! This facility stopped paying for medically necessary trips to various medical appointments via the ambulance! I have to travel by ambulance since I am unable to walk or stand! This facility has told me that I now have to pay for transportation to these medically necessary appointments! Furthermore, this facility is no longer paying for ALL of my medications! This facility stopped paying for my medications several months ago! However, I was unaware that they had done so! As they did NOT inform me of this! I ONLY learned of this because I started getting bills in the mail for co-pays! Since several months had passed and I am on several medications, the bills were quite large! I have run out of my medications and this facility has refused to replenish or pay for my pertinent medications on their own! Instead, I have to wait until my personal insurance picks up the cost! I have made multiple reports to the upper management here! Yet, nothing changes and I have to go through the same thing day after day! The supervisors here ignore me and use their unit clerk as well as other employees to ruin interference for them so, that they won't have to take my calls! If you do speak with a supervisor, they become indignant with you and berate you for bothering them! Right now, they are trying to put me out of this facility and send me home! Even though I am unable to walk, stand or sit for any length of time! I am TOTALLY confined to the bed and I am disabled! I have multiple medical concerns and I live alone! But, they could careless! Please DO NOT send your family or friend or ANYONE or ANYTHING whom you care about here! Because they will be neglected, ignored ect...them. I have made MULTIPLE reports to the State and I will continue to do so! I have family members who have also complained and reported this place! They have had their OWN negative and concerning interactions with this place! I am amazed that they are still open and operating! The food here is nasty and barely edible! I have even been served spoiled food here!!! If you TRULY love and care for your loved ones, you will look elsewhere and NEVER look back!!!
