It appears there are not enough staff to care for or to timely respond to the resident call buttons. Often times a resident waits up to 30 to 45 minutes for a staff person to respond to the call button. The food is bland and not very tasty. The rotation of the meal plan is repeated every so many weeks - the residents get tired of the same food. The resident complain about the meals always tasting the same regardless of what is served by the facility. Resident arms and legs have dried skin; given more staff lotions could be applied and personalized grooming would improve. It appears there is not enough staff to provide individualized grooming in the morning and at bedtime; i.e., combing or brushing the hair, brushing of teeth, washing the face, and application of lotions to dry skin (face, hands, arms, legs, and feet). It is ashamed Greystone has the highest costs for a facility in area and appears to lack personalized care for the residents.There are not enough staff to routinely walk a resident that needs assistance, therefore, the resident cannot longer be mobile.
