Life Care Center of Bountiful

This facility is poorly managed and needs some serious oversight. The response time by cnas and nurses often bordered on negligent (up to 90 minutes). My husband's wound was not properly addressed and his doctor's orders were not followed.Management is not qualified or capable to be running a facility like this. Complaints are 'pacified' but nothing changes.The PT at this facility was excellent, but that's not a good enough reason to choose it for your loved one.

Admin here are the worst I've ever dealt with. They dont return calls. They have poor communication. They badger your loved ones into trying to tell them you have to use their in house doctor which is against the law. The doctor ignores the patients and even the nurses. There is even some funny stuff going on with Medicare and Medicaid on their end boarding fraud. I suggest you pass on by this place unless you want your loved ones to be possibly boarder on abuse. There are some good nurses and cna's that care there. I have also looked and there are reviews here that are from employees and even the admin on google. So I warn you if you have a loved one there watch this place. If you are thinking of having a loved one go there be very careful.

I will say that this facility is clean, it smells nice. Some of the staff is very good. It takes them ten to fifteen minutes to answer the call light. The social worker is NOT very knowledgeable. She has given us false information, does not follow through on promises, and just tells you what you want to hear. The administration staff is very young, it almost feels like high school kids are running this place. The sad thing is there really is not any good choices in the Bountiful area. We chose Life Care because it was the only place that didn't gross us out.
