Don’t ever bring a loved one to this location. My grandma was here for 3 weeks after spending over a month in a hospital bed and showed no improvement in physical therapy at all. Patients and staff started getting covid so I opted to get my grandma out to which they made it nearly impossible. They refused to provide her hospital discharge papers, list of medication, which medication she had already taken that day, had us call an ambulance ourselves to which we had to pay out of pocket and she also needs a bipap machine at night to which they said they could not give us the one she was using or even help us acquire one because they did not approve the discharge and could be held “liable” however, without the machine she could die. When the ambulance arrived the rehab did not provide the EMS team with any paperwork or even the clothes she had there. I’m grateful to the EMS team who wrapped my grandma in blankets to keep her warm cause the rehab lost her clothes and sent her home in the gown she wore there in 30 degree weather! I have never seen a facility meant to care for their patients behave so inhumane and disgustingly. All this just to keep her check because her insurance was no longer going to cover her stay however, she herself said many times that she wanted to leave. Many patients and staff have covid yet they still allow visitation so despite all their hinderances I’m glad I got my grandma out.

After 29 days I called 911 to perform a wellness check on my lifetime friend. What NYPD found was astonishing. After his ER exam, he was found to be dehydrated, anemic, kidney failure, full blown c-diff bacterial infection, and a bed sore that was stage 2 was now unstageable. Doctors performed Two surgeries to remove gangrene, and the c-diff went toxic and to his brain. Also that night while in the care of Meadow Park, they injected him twice with a stress test. Why?! My friend is recently paralyzed and this is the rehab center where Northwell sent him. 7 weeks at NYP hospital, friend alive and fighting hard in rehab to get his life back. So much more happened in that 29 days, all abusive, none of it rehab! Stay away from this place, I beg of you.
