Peace of Mind - Wichita

On may 29th, 2021, I picked up my husband from the Rose Hill facility. He was very weak and it took 2 to get him in the car. The staff member told me he was having a bad day. The longer we were in the car, I could tell something was wrong. We went aback to the facility and I decided he needed to go to the hospital. The staff member told me she would need to contact the "nurse" in Wichita. The "nurse" wanted me to waist until she came from Wichita to examine him. No, I said, either you call the EMT's or I will. She got snippy but did call. The EMT's examined my husband and transported him red light and siren to the Andover hospital where he was placed in ICU. Through neglect in this facility he had renal failure because of dehydration, aspiration pneumonia and very low blood pressure. He spent 3 1/2 days in ICU and 2 more days in a regular room before being released to a rehab facility. The "nurse" had been there on either the 27th or 28th, couldn't she tell there was something wrong?? Please DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONES WITH POM HOMES either in Rose Hill or Wichita.
