Beware of making this nursing home your loved one’s residence! I have cared for multiple family members over the years, and this nursing home is absolutely the worst! It’s extremely dirty and understaffed. I’ve witnessed nurses and patient care technicians on their phones, surfing the internet as residents attempt to gain their attention. Residents call out for help when in need of being changedand no one makes a move; there is a lot of yelling among the staff ; as well as yelling at the residents . These residents are literally at the mercy of the staff that supposed to be caring for them. There’s no dignity. Please don’t be fooledBy the smile you will receive from the administrator, new director of nursing or even the dir of admissions. It’s is all misleading. They clearly do not have the residents best interest at heart. It’s all in the name of a dollar.

The staff there is horrible! My mom was at Pine Brook for almost 2 years and had countless UTI’s. She had to be hospitalized several times. One incident the nurse called me because my mom was unresponsive from the UTI they actually thought she had a stroke. They would leave her in a wet diaper for hours. Recently after a bad storm the electricity went out no one called us to let us know. My mom actually called us the next morning and said the electric went out at 7:00 pm the night before. In the morning my mom kept asking to be changed and the aid tells her she can’t change her because there is no electricity to move the bed. WHAT! Are you kidding me! At that point we started looking for a new place for mom. And not to mention the food is disgusting, I told them several times they should be ashamed to serve that food to the residents, we would bring my mom food every day. I could go on and on, that place is a horror show, it should be shut down! WARNING: DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES IN PINE BROOK IT’S HORRIBLE!

I have personally seen a patient upside down in a wheelchair while the nurse on duty was somewhere kibitzing with her friends. Hard to believe but true. Ceilings damaged from water leaks collapse. The food is atrocious, the staff is under educated and over worked, a litany if mistakes like diabetics receiving wrong meds and food. Scabies outbreak. On and on .
