My sister was taken there from Jefferson Hospital despite our objection and it wasn't oneof our choice. My sister couldn't watch because the batteries in the remote need to be replaced and it sill had not been replaced two days later. She doesn't know where the nurse station button is and she want to want help with the phone and drink. One of the director told me the wrong room number and I don't think they know themselves. I even called the nurse station in asking for an assistance and they weren't cooperating. My sister told me last night that she wasn't feeling good and I'm concerned about my best friend. There are good nurses who are willing to help but why keep the nurses who aren't doing their jobs as they suppose to. I don't like bad mouthing someone but they need to be tolded. Not all happy with it. She need to come home so I can look after her because I love her and not only she's my sister but my best friend.

My family member was in this facility during the month of May. They could not take care of themselves at all. There were a couple people who seemed compassionate, the rest just treat it as a paycheck. They left a cup of water on the side table, but if you cannot move how are you supposed to drink without assistance. The pureed diet food looked like dog food and if you complained your loved one did not get what they ordered, you understood that was not appreciated. My loved one did get washed every day, which was more than the hospital did, but they were in a room with the air conditioner running and they were laid bear without even a towel covering the portions of their body that were not being washed. I would not recommend this place unless your loved one has no other place to go and you can check on them regularly.
