This is not about the center's nursing care. This is about the runaround they gave me in merely trying to visit someone.First, the trouble in finding out if he was indeed there. The person in charge of that had their answering machine on. I called back and they transferred me to someone else who also had their machine on. Called back a third time and finally found out that my friend was being treated there. Now I have to make an appointment...''.That person'' is in a meeting. I left a message that I wanted to visit someone, no return phone call. I called back the next day... ''gee I'm sorry that person in not in today''. ''They may or may not be in tomorrow''. I am told that no-one else can make an appointment! If this is their capability with something easy, pray for those poor residents that need something more challenging!I only had yesterday and today to visit. After five phone calls, I still will not be able to see my friend until next week.BTW, Lisa the receptionist was friendly and professional. She should be running the place!

Unfortunately there is no option to give no stars, so one star it is. My Mom was here for close to two months, and there was no effort to keep me informed of her status/progress. I was consistently given one word answers to questions about her wellbeing and overall progress/activity- "she's fine." "she's okay." "yup, fine." - which clearly was not the case, or else she would not have been there in the first place. There were a handful of very alarming situations which occurred and weren't dealt with correctly - including (but not limited to): my Mom being left in the bathroom (she cannot walk on her own) at 2 AM for close to an hour (her roommate corroborated the time), being yelled at by nurses/aids to eat "or else we'll force it down your throat", my Mom repeatedly pushing the 'help' button because she had to use the bathroom, but ended up soiling herself on multiple occasions because no one came. My Mom would tell me very often that she was afraid of what they would say or do to her next - which started on or around her 2nd / 3rd day there. The staff here forget that patients here oftentimes have family members who cannot advocate for them given the pandemic protocols, so instead of treating them like lab specimens, they should be trained on how to show basic levels of compassion and empathy.I HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere for professional care and related services. After speaking to a handful of staff at various levels here and receiving approximately the same low level of respect and normal communication, I cannot possibly think of any instance where I would remotely consider sending ANYONE to this facility.
