My grandmother almost died in this place. She was NEGLECTED beyond comprehensive. She later died at home because of their neglect. She walked into this place and in 3 months she was in hospice. We complained everyday but everyone there threatened us and flipped the story. PLEASE REPORT to STATE OFFICIALS. They have been in business other various names through the years with many lawsuits and neglect cases going on. REPORT THEM.

Low down nasty place. Don't send your family member here it's horrifying what goes at this place. The employees are nothing but nasty human beings. Don't care about patients what so ever. It's all about the money. You will be tortured every day worrying what they don't do to take care of your loved one. They will make your love one go crazy cause they don't even answer the call bell. Nothing but lazy nasty employees with bad attitudes. Stay clear from Rosewood in Renssalaer NY. READ THE REVIEW ITS ALL TRUE.

The state of New York needs to shut this facility down immediately. No regard for human life. Nasty, incompetent employees just collecting a paycheck. Administrator and Nursing Manager should be fired. Don't send your family member here. They are a joke. Stay away.

Horrific. The turnover is disturbing. In order to run a successful facility one must pay a professional staff because the staff that works at this place could give a ***** about the patients. They have absolutely no regard for the elderly or human condition. Each patient is paid 10,000 a month by the state. They have at least 50 beds/patients = 500,000 a month. Your telling me you can’t afford to run a facility and hire a decent trained chef, compassionate aides, physical therapy and so on. Shame on your work ethics. Shame on your disregard for human life.Your killing patients not helping them.

I was forced to watch my mom decompensate drastically over the course of almost 5 weeks. Facility staff failed to acknowledge cognitive decline And UTI in a timely fashion. We begged for help for weeks and reported my mom's decline and requested to speak with the facility MD also staff will offer to file a complaint to the director of nursing with a smile on their face as in this case but director of nursing failed to respond as well as facility MD. Facility staff left my mom crying in pain and unable to feed herself do to her decline. A Vital medical appointment was canceled by the facility during a crucial timeAnd refused to allow family to transport and assist my mom on her appointment.Eventually the family contacted 911 for evaluation and my mother was removed from the facility on 12/15/18 and on life support within hours. Facility failed to diagnose severe pneumonia sepsis and UTIWhile my mom displayed obvious signs. My mom died a few days later Of multiple organ failure due to sepsis after being at the facility for nearly five weeks. She also had a bed sore within a few weeks of being there. Facility contacted family a month later to collect the remaining payment. Most of the staff I came in contact with had no compassion for human life. The problems start with Administration. Nurses were a horrible example of quality CareThey were very cold and had no expression or sympathy while watching my mom shake and cry in pain the LPN said they have patience worse and that my mom will feel better after taking her pain medication that she could barely swallow at the time. By this time my mom was lethargic humming her words shaking and crying. We requested her fluids be drained from her body for a month as and nothing was done instead staff allowed fluids to fill her body leading to arm swelling and weeping of fluids. He waited over 3 weeks for staff to test for suspected UTI Which was confirmed when she arrived to the hospital. If you're thinking of sending your loved one here consider this review!!!
