Woodbridge Care Center

I am a family member of my loved one; that was placed in this"Hell Hole"! Our family thought it would be better to have her close to us....and I, personally regret every day; since her passing...having her admitted there....she was in her last days at age 90 and I believe they pushed and forced her to do rehab, that she was not capable of doing!!! I mentioned to the therapist; doing her therapy...and explained, she was not capable...she was not able to walk at the hospital....and they claimed she could walk...."no she was not able to walk"....this place should be investigated by the State of Florida. The management, could care less; that my loved one "Fell", and declined; following her fall ...I was notified BUT no mention of it by the "Administrator nor an apology by her. The doctor responded in afternoon not to mention they did not send my loved one to the hospital, ER; followiing the incident!!!I had a difficult time trying to get a report... never did get it!!! I had to beg and they offered me; from Medical Records "Blank sheets of paper"... they were willing to have me come in and speak to them....Please, please read this and do not put your loved one in this facility. The medical staff and assistants are incompetent. The place is questionable for cleanliness, the food is very bad. This facility needs to be investigated. I will write reviews every year, that my loved one, has passed away. I regret the day, I placed my loved one in this terrible facility. I will never forget how horrible this one nurse treated my mother....I pulled my loved one out of their, following two incidents and she was placed in Hospice and passed away two weeks later. Someday, these people; that handled patients in this style and manner will be judged.

Poorly trained staff and dictatorial administrators. High rehospitalization and death rate. One way ticket to hell.

Most staff is very caring but many are poorly trained. Giving improper medical treatment is dangerous and can be fatal. Administration is nasty, defensive and tries to hide errors their caregivers make. They take advantage of the elderly who do not know any better and when confronted about issues by family members they get nasty. I was a short-term resident and have seen it all!

Ive read some of these reviews and they are not accurate. Woodbridge Care Center is by far one of the better facility. The leadership there is great and has exceptional nursing care. Whenever you have a need for something they are always there to help and go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. Its clean no odor. It is an older building but very well kept. The staff there take very good care of the residents and it very well managed. A big change from 2 years ago. Woodbridge Care Center comes highly recommended.

BEWARE! THIS IS THE WORST PLACE ON THE PLANET. THERE IS A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY ARE HELPFUL - THE REST IS AWFUL! SEVERAL COMPLAINTS HAD BEEN PUT IN AND IGNORED BY ADMINISTRATION WHO SHOULD BE THE ONE TO HANDLE IT! ADMINISTRATOR LORE IS THE WORST PERSON I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AND I HAVE BEEN IN HEALTHCARE 25 YEARS!! THE CENTER DOESN'T NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONES AND THE TREATMENT IS HORRIBLE. THANK GOD I WAS ABLE TO MOVE MY MOTHER OUT OF THERE. I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT ALL THE THINGS THAT WENT WRONG, BUT I WOULD BE HERE FOR A DAY. JUST RECONSIDER IF YOU ARE HAVING TO DECIDE WHERE TO PUT A FAMILY MEMBER. IT'S BAD WHEN THE STAFF THERE ARE LOOKING FOR OTHER JOBS AND ADMITTING THAT THE CARE THERE IS AWFUL!!! I DON'T EVEN WANT TO PICK A START RATING BUT I HAD TOO Like Share

Dirty place. Nurses have an attitud problem. They do not care for the patient. They are not carefull with the patient. They yank and pull the patient to sit up and lay down . My dads bed had a roach . They do not change there diapers frequently . And they force the elderly to sit in a wheelchair for hours everyday . My dad request was to lay down they forced him to sit in a wheelchair and forced him to be ina room full of elderlys for hours ... please dont place your loved one here.

I would not recommend placing your loved one in this nursing facility. The decor is depressing, fairly clean, but poor aseptic technique used by some of the medical assistant(s), the patients wait a long period; before their diapers are changed. I also, experienced a poor attitude by one nurse who failed to respond to a family plea; for help when their "loved one" was found unresponsive; sitting in a wheel chair, after family; yelled out for "help" several times.... the nurse finally responded, she was only about 20 feet away!!! Food is very poor and it seems like they push rehab on the very elderly; knowing that the patient is in such poor condition; unable to walk; has a catheter and can barely sit up; just so they can justify their "requirements" for "Medicare payments .....it is sad, what these institutions have resorted to in order to make "big" corporate dollars. My loved one fell in this facility. I requested a medical incident report but never received it. I also noticed,they hid the "emergency" patient cord and placed it where the patient was not able to reach it....found it attached over head of patient and also tied way back on lower area of bed rail. Also, noticed they had removed all the wrist bands for status of patient (my loved one) such as "hx of falls" and "DNR"......the patient should have initially been placed in a differnt type of mattress to prevent the fall; they did not change the mattress until after the fall....My impression is this facility is wreckless with their patients.
