I am very disappointed with Autumn Woods. My family member was in there for physical therapy. The facility has activities for the residents, music and things like that. That is a positive. Now the negative....They are always shorthanded on the CNA's, or they just choose to give too many residents who need care to 1 CNA. They are rushing around trying to do twenty different things. You put the call light on and no one comes. The nurses WILL NOT help. There will be 3 nurses sitting around the nurses station while there are lights to be answered. I always had to do several things for my Dad during my visits there. Get my Dad up myself, change him, take him to the bathroom, put him to bed. They throw dirty diapers on the floor, the rooms are left a mess. My Dad wasn't groomed properly. They would leave him laying in the bed with wet bottoms on. He had sores on his bottom from not being changed. They don't monitor input and output. He would go for hours with nothing to drink. They don't encourage residents to eat. They try once or twice, then take the food away. He was a fall risk and they left him alone on his second day there and he fell trying to get to the bathroom. The residents cannot be getting quality care when you have 1 CNA for 15 or more people. I think it is unsafe, unsanitary, and for the money they are getting, it is down right sickening. They either need to hire more CNA's or make the nurses get up off of their asses and help. Go somewhere else, this place is a joke.
