beautiful campus, promises about care not kept, very disappointed in this place, everyone seems so nice would not recommend putting your loved one here, do your homework when picking out a place for your loved one.

nice campus, poor careplanning, they kicked my dad out with 24 hour notice for their poor care planning, luckily traditions in sellersburg welcomed him with open arms, they led our family to believe they could put in behavior health without our consent or we could find a new place, which we did, and are we glad, beware people, they speak with forked tongue!

This place is not what it seems...poor careplanning, meetings every 3 months for this, nothing accomplished, they kicked my poor dad out with 24 hour notice and led us to believe they could...and they will do the same to yours. ..i will shout this forever no family should have to go through what mine did...uncaring. ..and named after a saint!

Bored elders, in their rooms most of the day, activities director needs help, bingo and cards? Meals would be the highlight of their day. Poor care planning..do not put your loved one here, ministry based, but management will lie to your face about the elders rights to serve their own purpose.

Dont put your loved one here, admin will lie to you about elders rights, staff overworked, activities a joke, they gave us 24 hrs to move my dad or they would put him in psych at the hospital, and made me believe they could do so, we moved him ,they had no authority to do either...be warned. Dont put your loved one here.

Not good care, overworked staff, no activites really unless you like bingo, drawings or cards, poor care planning for your loved one, not above lying about your lived ones rights if they have "behaviors " they dont like

Dont put your loved here, poor care planning, staff overworked, bingo and cards about the only activities. Management bog problem! Not what it appears.

Think twice before putting your loved in here. The staff are overworked here, the activities are a joke, poor elders bored and in their rooms most of the time. They will lose your loved ones stuff and blame the elder...sad. my dad was never dressed appropriately for the weather, they will lie about your loved ones rights, and care planning for your loved ones future is a nonexistent. You will meet every 3 mo, but no action ever taken. And if your loved one develops certain behaviors, and due to their poor careplanning, they will kick you out with 24 hr notice and make you believe they can. Ministry based? Ha!

Very unorganized. Management changes monthly. No communication or future planning of care. Do not recommend!!

My dad lived at Guerin Woods for 14 months. He had both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. He enjoyed the activities and music therapy that they offered, but he suffered from anxiety issues, which made his care challenging. The nurses, aids, and administrators always treated him with love and respect. We as a family regularly meet with representatives from every department so that we were directly involved in his care plan. We trusted them with our father's care, and they did not let us down. The love and attention they showed my father meant so much to us as a family. My dad passed away just a few weeks ago, and it was so touching to see administrators, aids, nurses, and family members of other residents in his villa come to his visitation to pay their respects. I think that truly speaks to the family atmosphere that we experienced at Guerin Woods. We know that he was in the best place for care and recommend it to anyone with a loved one in a similar situation.

Hoping this was going to be my dads forever home . Once he needed a little extra help they gave us 48 hours to find a new place. Wish there dreams included helping when you need it the most .
