Oak Creek Terrace

My father was in another facility prior to his stay at Oak Creek. We could tell within a few days this was the right decision . The staff was caring, kind and went out of their way to make him feel at home. They made my mother who came daily to visit, feel comfortable while she was there. She knew he would be cared for when she was not with him. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they were. AqThe room was 3 times the size of the previous place and beautiful. The cost was very reasonable. I am so happy we moved him to Oak Creek Terrace. They treated him like he was their family member. What more could you ask for!

You don’t want me to even start!!! Everyone needs fired or more training. I don’t even think the staff wants to be there. Karen calls herself an LPN!! Chelsea passes out the meds front desk doesn’t even greets you, caseworker and admissions director lack people skills, Marsha an aid and Julie a physical therapist were the only two people who were kind and professional. My dad was there six days before I transferred him to a facility with warm and caring professionals. Visited on two different occasions where I found dad in a wet bed, another time his call but was on the bed next to him out of reach. I don’t believe the staff communicates with each other between shift changes. The food was absolutely terrible! One meal they brought to him I didn’t even know what it was! I’m glad dad I got my dad out of there. All I can tell people looking for care for their loved ones is do the research and do the tour. And when you do choose one visit daily if possible and never at the same time. I would pop in on my dad 2-3 times a day. Keep the staff on their toes. How this place has a five star rating is beyond me. Don’t pay attention to stars. Finally.... I wouldn’t take my dog there! Please if you love your elders the way I do don’t take them to Oak Creek Terrace.
